YOUR GUIDE TO THIS VERSION

Guide: 2–7 with burns and shared seventh fallback. Eight-handed stud needs the source’s full card-shortage procedures.

From first card to final reveal.

  1. Prepare. Use 52 cards; agree ante, bring-in and fixed limits.

    This game has no blinds.

  2. Third street. Ante. Deal two cards down and one up each.

    Keep downcards private.

  3. Bring-in. Highest upcard posts bring-in; continue clockwise.

Ties: spades, hearts, diamonds, clubs, high first.

  4. Fourth street. Burn; deal one upcard each. Bet.

The lowest exposed hand starts this and later rounds.

  5. Fifth street. Burn; deal another upcard. Bet.

Use the larger fixed bet from here.

  6. Sixth street. Burn; deal another upcard. Bet.

Four cards are now face up.

  7. Seventh street. Burn; deal final card down. Bet.

If insufficient cards remain, deal one shared face-up final card instead.

  8. Showdown. Best five-card ace-to-five low wins. Split equal hands.

Aces low; pairs hurt; straights/flushes ignored. No eight-low qualifier.
