YOUR GUIDE TO THIS VERSION
Know your table.
From first card to final reveal.
- Prepare. Use 52 cards, button, blinds and agreed limits.
This guide uses blinds, not an ante-only home version.
- Deal five. Deal five private cards each.
There is no shared board.
- First betting. Action begins after the big blind.
Call, raise or fold; a sole survivor wins. Heads-up: the button acts first before the draw/flop.
- Choose discards. Each survivor keeps all five or chooses zero to five to replace.
Keeping everything is standing pat.
- Draw once. Starting after the button, replace each player’s discards.
Burn before the draw; never expose discarded cards.
- Final betting. First active seat after the button begins.
No second exchange.
- Showdown. Highest five-card poker hand wins; split equal hands.
Suits do not break ties.
- Reset. Collect cards, shuffle, move the button.
If the stub runs short, use the linked reshuffle procedure; exclude the current player’s discards.
